United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Praises Mauritanian efforts in Humanitarian Action

On Wednesday in Geneva, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, held talks with Ms. Marthe Jo Hanson, Head of Operations and Advocacy Division at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the existing joint projects between Mauritania and the UN institution.

The UN official praised the atmosphere of security and stability in Mauritania and the valuable efforts made by the Mauritanian government in the field of humanitarian action, expressing the office’s readiness to support our country in this field.
