Prime Minister Presents Government’s Political Program to National Assembly

The Prime Minister, Mr. El Moctar Ould Djay, began a short while ago to present the government’s political program to the National Assembly during a public session chaired by Mr. Mohamed Bemba Meguett, Speaker of the Assembly.
This session is being held in accordance with the provisions of Articles 42 and 74 of the Constitution and Article 132 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.
Members of Parliament are scheduled to discuss the government’s political program during a public session next Monday, at the conclusion of which the Prime Minister will provide his responses to the various comments, questions, and inquiries raised by members of Parliament during their remarks.
