Fisheries Minister Discusses Partnership with Spanish Interior Minister

The Minister of Fisheries, Maritime Infrastructure, and Ports, Ms. Aissata Lam, held talks on Tuesday, at the ministry’s headquarters in Nouakchott with His Excellency the Spanish Minister of the Interior, Mr. Fernando Grande-Marlaska, who is currently on a working visit to our country.
The talks focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and develop the strategic partnership between the two countries.
They also addressed the current state of cooperation between Mauritania and Spain and explored prospects for developing and enhancing it in a manner that serves mutual interests, with a focus on strengthening coordination in the areas of fisheries, maritime infrastructure, and ports.
