Health Minister Organizes Farewell ceremony to Cuban Medical Mission

The ministry of health organized, Wednesday evening in Nouakchott, a farewell ceremony in honor of the Cuban medical team, whose mission has ended in Mauritania.

This gesture highlights the gratitude and appreciation of Mauritania to the professional and humanist effort deployed by the Cuban mission during its stay at the specialties hospital of Nouadhibou.

In a speech on the occasion, the Minister of Health, Mr. Mohamed Nedhirou Ould Hamed, thanked the different Cuban medical missions in Mauritania for their immense efforts that help relieve the Mauritanian patients.

For his part, the Cuban Ambassador, resided in Algeria, His Excellency Mr. Armando Vergara Bueno, thanked Mauritania for the recognition and gratitude expressed to the Cuban medical mission: this tribute, according to him, reflects the generosity of the Mauritanian people.
