Tokyo: Mauritania, Japon Toni Sign Fishing Agreement

On 11 January, in Tokyo, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abidine Ould Maayiv, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, who is visiting Japan, signed a fishing agreement allowing the fleet of the Japanese company “Japon Toni” owning 25 vessels to fish in Mauritania for 5 years its tuna share authorized by the international organization for the management of this species of fish.
