Food Security Commissioner Receives Japanese Ambassador

On 11 January, in Nouakchott, Ms. Fatimetou Mint Khattri, the Commissioner for Food Security, received Mr. Uchida Tatsukuni, the Ambassador of the Empire of Japan to Mauritania.

Opening the meeting, Ms. Mint Khattri welcomed the Ambassador, wishing him every success in his new mission to further consolidate cooperation relations between Mauritania and Japan.

The two parties also reviewed the existing cooperation relations between the two countries and the means to strengthen and develop them, particularly in the food security field.
