The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Nouakchott Thursday for Rome (Italy), to attend the eighth session of the Mediterranean Dialogues.
Upon his departure from Nouakchott Oumoutounsy international airport, the President of the Republic was greeted by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, the Chief of Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the President of the Region of Nouakchott.
The President of the Republic is accompanied during this trip by the following delegation:
– Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad,
– Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, Minister of Economic Affairs, Cooperation, and Promotion of Productive Sectors,
-Mr. Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, Minister of Petroleum, Mines, and Energy,
– Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic,
– Ms. Zeinebou Mint Ely Salem, Mauritanian Ambassador to Rome,
– Mr. Tall Ousmane, an officer in charge of special duties at the Presidency of the Republic;
– Mr. Houssein Ould Naji, an adviser at the Presidency of the Republic;
-Mr. El Hacen Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.
