Minister of Islamic Affairs Inquires About Mauritanian Pilgrims? Stay Conditions

On 29 June, Mr. Dah Ould Sidi Ould Amar Taleb, the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Original Education affirmed that the arrangements related to the stay and the performance of the rituals of our faithful pilgrims had been taken at the level of Mecca before their arrival, in implementation of the instructions of His Excellency Mr.Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani the President of the Republic, aimed at improving the conditions of Mauritanian pilgrims in the Holy Land.

The Minister made this declaration at the end of a visit he made, on 28 June, with the official mission, to the pilgrims at their residence in Medina.

He explained that the purpose of the visit is to see the stay and health conditions of the pilgrims, stressing that the Ministry is keen to follow up and monitor the conditions of the pilgrims in Medina and Makkah and during all Hajj rituals. He expressed his satisfaction with the unanimous feeling of the pilgrims on the quality of their accommodation conditions and the services provided in terms of supervision, accommodation, transport, health monitoring, and food.
