Launching the services of the Mauritanian Electricity Company and linking them to the ‘My Services’ Portal

The Minister of Digital Transformation and Modernization of Administration, Mr. Ahmed Salem Ould Beddeh, accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Oil, Mr. Mohammed Ould Khaled, inaugurated today, Wednesday, the services of the Mauritanian Electricity Company and connected it to the government portal ‘Khadamati,’ at the headquarters of the Mauritanian Electricity Company (SOMLEC).
This step aims to facilitate access to electronic services and transactions related to subscriptions, particularly viewing invoices and benefiting from services remotely without the need to visit the company’s offices.
The Minister of Energy and Oil, in a speech on the occasion, explained that the services of the Mauritanian Electricity Company is now available through the ‘My Services’ portal, affirming that citizens can benefit from them starting now in a fully electronic manner.
He added that the project was developed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization, with financial support from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), praising the agency’s efforts in supporting the Mauritanian government, and commending the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization and the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, as well as those implementing this project.
