Minister of Public Service Meets With New ILO Director

On 6 June, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Ethmane, the Minister of Public Service and Labor, held a working session with Mr. Gilbert F. Houngbo, the Director General of the International Labor Organization (ILO), who was elected at the head of the organization and will take office next October for a five-year term.

The Minister congratulated the Director General on his election as head of the organization. He also discussed with him the development of cooperation relations between Mauritania and the organization and the opportunities and prospects for developing them.
