Algerian Energy Minister: We look forward to developing strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries
The Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab said he had the honnor of meeting his Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Al-Ghazwani, at the beginning of his visit to sisterly Mauritania, which is a part of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries in the field of energy and mines”.
He added, in a statement to the Mauritanian News Agency after his meeting with the President of the Republic, on Monday at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, that he conveyed to His Excellency the greetings of his brother His Excellency Abdelmejid Tebboune, and his best wishes for progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of Mauritania.
He said that he stressed the importance the Algerian president attaches to the development of the Algerian-Mauritanian strategic partnership and his determination to continue the joint work to advance stability and development efforts in the region.
He explained that he listened to the directives of His Excellency the President, Mr. Mohammed Ould Cheikh Al-Ghazwani, with great interest in order to raise cooperation in various fields to the level of brotherhood and friendship rooted between our two brotherly peoples, as well as cooperation in the field of energy and mines in addition to cooperation in different fields to reach the level of aspirations between the two countries.”
