Finance Minister signs credit line with Director General of ITFC for SOMELEC

On 5 June, H the Minister of Finance, Mr. Isselmou Ould Mohamed M’Badi, signed with Mr. Hani Salem Sonbol, Director General of the Islamic International Foundation for Trade Finance (ITFC), on the side-lines of the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB), which is currently hosted by the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh, to finance a line of credit of US$50 million for the Mauritanian Electricity Company (SOMELEC), in the form of a fuel importing.
