Queen of Spain Arrives in Nouakchott on Working Visit to Mauritania

On 31 May, the Queen of Spain, Her Majesty Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano, arrived in Nouakchott on a three-day working visit to Mauritania.

The First Lady, Dr. Mariem Fadhel Dah, welcomed the Queen of Spain, at the international airport of Nouakchott (Oum-Tounsi), at the head of a delegation including Ms. El Alia Mint Yahya Menkouss, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, HE Mr. Kane Boubacar, the Mauritanian Ambassador to Spain, and HE Ms. Maria Alvarez Dola Rosa, the Spanish Ambassador to Mauritania.

At the VIP lounge, the First Lady and the Queen held talks in the presence of the two delegations.
