Foreign Affairs Minister Receives UN Experts

On 30 May in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received the UN group responsible for monitoring the implementation of the provisions of UN Security Council Resolution No. 2374/2017 on the ban on travel and the freezing of the assets of persons and entities threatening peace in Mali.

The meeting focused on cooperation relations between Mauritania and the UN and on various issues of common interest.
