On the sidelines of the two extraordinary African Union summits currently being held in Equatorial Guinea, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad met, on 28 May, in Malabo, with Mr. Vincent Biruta, the Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was an opportunity for the two parties to review the bilateral cooperation relations and discuss the ways and means likely to strengthen them further, particularly following the visit to Nouakchott last February by His Excellency Paul Kagame, the President of the Republic of Rwanda.
