On the sidelines of the two extraordinary African Union summits currently being held in Equatorial Guinea, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad met, on 28 May, in Malabo, with Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat, the Chairman of the African Union (AU) Commission.
The meeting was an opportunity for the two parties to discuss the latest developments at both regional and international levels, reform efforts at the AU level, and the strengthening of African action in the service of security, stability, and development of the continent.
