President of Republic Congratulates Ethiopian Counterpart

On 27 May, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, sent a message of congratulations to Her Excellency Ms. Sahle-Work Zewde, the President of the Republic of Ethiopia, on the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of her country.

The message reads as follows:

“Excellency and dear sister,

The celebration of your country’s National Day offers me the pleasant opportunity to send you my warm congratulations and my best wishes for progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of Ethiopia.

I take this opportunity to reiterate our determination to develop and strengthen the friendly relations of cooperation between our two countries in the mutual interest of our two people.
