Foreign Minister Participates in 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, participated Sunday, via videoconference, in the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD).

In his speech, the minister hailed the great support that Japan has always been giving in the fields of food security and health, in addition to the training of Mauritanian staffs.

He also praised the distinguished cooperation relations between Mauritania and Japan, particularly in the field of fisheries.
