Foreign Minister Receives UNCCD Executive Secretary

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received Friday Mr. Ibrahim Thiaw, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).

The meeting touched on ways to boost cooperation between Mauritanian and this organization and the environment and development challenges that face the region.
