Economy Minister: Government Allocates 1Billion MRU for Investments in manufacturing industries of Agriculture and Pharmacy

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, said that two draft decrees related to a founding agreement between the Mauritanian government and the two companies El Mourabitoune and Chinguitty Pharma. Under this agreement, the government a financial envelope of 10 billion Ouguiyas (ancient Ouguiya).

In his commentary on the results of the cabinet’s Wednesday meeting, the minister pointed out that this agreement is related to international private investments that will create 135 direct job opportunities and more than 400 indirect job opportunities. He noted that the agricultural industrialization project will be carried out by the El Mourabitoune Company for dairy and agricultural products in Ouad Naga, Trarza.
