Foreign Minister Meets With Iran’s Assistant Secretary of State

On 28 February, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received, in Nouakchott, with Mr. Mir Massoud Hosseinian, Iran’s Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East and North African Affairs.

The talks focused on the cooperative relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.

The Iranian diplomat handed the minister a written message from his Iranian counterpart, Mr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
