International Fisheries Fair Kicked Off in Riyadh

The International Fisheries Fair opened on 30 January in Riyadh, capital of the Saudi Kingdom. The event takes place over three days in the presence of a Mauritanian delegation, led by Mr. Dy Ould Zein, the Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy. The objective of the Fair is to promote investments, particularly in the field of fish farming.

On the sidelines of the activities of the Fair, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadli, the Saudi Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and his Mauritanian counterpart, held a meeting during which they discussed the importance of fisheries resources as well as the need to create the conditions for fruitful cooperation.
