On 30 January, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, was received, in Kuwait City, by Sheikh/ Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs.
The meeting was devoted to discussing aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries at different levels and means of developing and activating it in the service of the two countries. They also reviewed all Arab, regional, and international issues.
The two sides discussed issues on the agenda of the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers being held in Kuwait.
The meeting was attended by our country’s ambassador to the brotherly State of Kuwait, HE Mr. Mohamed Lemine Ould Cheikh, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of our country to the Arab League, HE Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Abdallahi, the Ambassador, Director of the Department of Arab and Islamic Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Cheikh Sid Ahmed Ould Mohamed Saleck, and several assistants to the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs.
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad arrived in Kuwait on 29 January to take part in the work of the second consultative meeting of Arab ministers.
