Mauritania, Turkey Sign Education Agreement

The Minister of National Education and Reform of Education System, Mr. Mohamed Melainine Ould Eyih, and the Turkish Minister of National Education, Mr. Mahmut Ozer, signed an education agreement on Friday within the scope of the Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit.

Under this agreement, both parties encourage and facilitate cooperation in the areas of sharing information, expertise, and scientific publications in the field of formal and informal education. They also agreed to have joint research activities in the fields of education, curriculum development, quality, and evaluation, as well as vocational training of teachers, school principals, administrative staff, and educational inspectors.
