President of Republic Leads Funeral Prayer for Late President Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikh Abdallahi

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, led, on 23 November at the Ibn Abbass mosque, , the funeral prayer for late President Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikh Abdallahi – May Allah forgive him- who passed away Monday night following an illness.

The funeral prayer was attended by Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, Prime minister, Government members, the director of the President’s Cabinet, Chiefs of Staff of the Armed and Security forces, and prominent personalities of the state.

It should be noted that the deceased- May Allah forgive him- was the president of the republic from 19 April 2007 to 6 August 2008.
