Prime Minister Chairs Ministerial Meeting to Follow Up on Outcomes of Presidential Visit to Adrar and Inchiri

The Prime Minister, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Diay, chaired a ministerial meeting on Monday evening at the Prime Minister’s Office, dedicated to following up on the conclusions of the visit undertaken by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to the wilayas of Adrar and Inchiri from September 20 to 26.

The meeting was held as part of the implementation of the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, aimed at translating the commitments and promises announced during the various stages of the visit into concrete action; establishing a clear program defining priorities, the sectors concerned, and implementation deadlines; and putting in place effective monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.

The meeting also reviewed the appeal made by His Excellency the President regarding the improvement of urban cleanliness and the organization of a national campaign in which everyone is called upon to participate in response to this appeal.

His Excellency the Prime Minister stressed the need for each sector to ensure rigorous follow-up, within its respective area of competence, to implement these commitments and promises, ensure their effective realization on the ground, and prepare detailed reports on the progress of their implementation.

The meeting also reviewed preparations underway for the launch of the second phase of the emergency program aimed at expanding access to essential local development services.
