Foreign Affairs Minister Manifests Mauritania Diplomatic Presence in New York

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed manifested Mauritania diplomacy efforts through conducting various meetings with foreign Ministers , United Nation representatives, and , US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs in New York, on the sidelines of the work of the 76th session of the UN.
The Ministers and officials are:
– Dr. Faisal Mekdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.
– Mr. Othman Al-Jarandi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad.
– Mr. Jean-Pierre Delacroix, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations for Peacekeeping Operations.
– Mrs. Retno Marsudi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Republic of Indonesia.
– Victoria Nuland, US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs.
The meetings provided the opportunities to Mauritania to enhance and boost diplomatic relations with brotherly countries and discuss common interest issues with countries and institutions present the united nation 76 session.
