President of the Republic Chairperson of the African Union meets Senegalese President

His Excellency the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, met on Monday, on the sidelines of the joint Arab-Islamic follow-up summit in Riyadh, with His Excellency the President of the Republic of Senegal, Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
The meeting dealt with ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields, intensify coordination, in addition to discussing current developments at the regional and international levels.
His Excellency the President of the Republic and his Senegalese counterpart, in addition to the leaders of the Arab and Islamic nations, are in Riyadh to participate in the work of the joint Arab-Islamic follow-up summit, which is an extension of the joint Arab-Islamic summit and discusses the continuation of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian territories and the Lebanese Republic, developments in the region and coordination of positions among Member States.
