A consultative Meeting for Coordination in the Field of Human Rights Protection and Promotion

The Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action and Relations with Civil Society, Mr. Cheikh Ahmedou Ould Ahmed Salem Ould Sidi, received, today, Tuesday in his office in Nouakchott, the Head of the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture, Ms. Moulaty Mint El Mokhtar.
During the meeting, they reviewed areas of cooperation between the Commission and the Mechanism, in the field of human rights protection and promotion, by strengthening consultation and coordination in areas related to the interventions of the two bodies.
