Signing of a financing Agreement for the Construction of the Atar-Chinguetti road

The Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohamed Lemine Ould Dhehby, on Monday signed with the President of the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) group, Dr. Mohamed Souleyman Al Jasser, a 30 million US $ agreement. This envelope is intended to finance the “Atar-Chinguetti road” project.
The signing of this agreement comes on the sidelines of the minister’s participation in the annual summit of the ISDB group, which took place in the capital of Uzbekistan, on September 3 and 4.
On this occasion, the minister met with the President of the ISBD group on the fruitful cooperation relations, which bind Mauritania and the financial institution. The two parties also explored ways and means that will further strengthen this cooperation.
