Minister of Culture Meets with ICESCO Director General

On 19 August, the Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports, and Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman, Moktar Ould Dahi, met with Mr. Salim Ben Mohamed El Malek, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO).

Discussions focused on cooperation and exchange mechanisms between the two parties, as well as the presentation of some cultural projects and programs in the country, which come within the framework of ICESCO interventions, including the festival of ancient towns and the Chinguitt Prize.

It should be noted that the meeting was held via videoconference with a view to creating the conditions for strong and lasting cooperation between ICESCO and Mauritania.
