Mauritania, IFAATU Sign MoU

On 19 August, Mr. Camara Saloum Mohamed, Minister of Public Service and Labor, signed a memorandum of understanding with Mr. Saoud Rachid El Hajilan, President of the International Federation of Asian and African Trade Unions (IFAATU).

The agreement is based on the will of the two parties to build a fruitful and constructive cooperation in the field of trade union work between the Government of Mauritania and the IFAATU, which is a continental organization working for the improvement of working conditions of workers on the Asian and African continents.

The Memorandum of Understanding includes many articles which stress the need to provide all facilities to improve trade union work.
