Foreign Minister Signs Cooperation Agreements with Russian Counterpart

His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, met today, Friday, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with His Excellency the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sergey Lavrov, on the sidelines of the second edition of the Ministerial Conference of the Russia–Africa Partnership Forum.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed bilateral cooperation relations and ways to strengthen and develop them. They also signed six cooperation agreements between the two countries covering various fields.
