Health Ministry Receives a Million Masks

The Ministry of Health received a million masks on Wednesday in Nouakchott, a donation from the World Health Organization (WHO) to help limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
On the occasion, the advisor to the Prime Minister in charge of social affairs, Mr. Ba Hampaté, thanked, on behalf of the committee responsible for monitoring the coronavirus pandemic, the World Health Organization for this contribution which will limit the consequences of this third wave of Covid-19.
From his part, the resident representative of the WHO in Mauritania, Mr. Kaboré Patrick, indicated that this medical donation is part of the cooperation between his institution and the Mauritanian public authorities represented by the Ministry of Health.
The reception ceremony took place in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health and other officials of the department.
