On 3 September, in Nouakchott, Mr. Sid’Ahmed Ould Bouh, the Minister of Economy and Finance, received a high-level British delegation led by Lord Collins, British Minister for Africa. The visit is part of efforts to strengthen economic cooperation between Mauritania and the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various areas of cooperation between our country and the United Kingdom, ways to strengthen and develop bilateral economic and financial cooperation, investment opportunities, and support for development projects in Mauritania, particularly in the areas of infrastructure and sustainable financing.
The British delegation included Mr. Guy Harrison, UK Ambassador to Mauritania, Mr. Stephen Gray, Regional Director for West Africa at UK Export Finance, and other personalities.
