President of the Republic receives high-level British delegation

The President of the Republic His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received a high-level British delegation today at the International Conference Centre ‘Mokhtar Ould Daddah’ in Nouakchott. The delegation is on a working visit to Mauritania and was led by Lord Collins, Minister for African Affairs in the British Government.

The delegation also included Mr. Guy Harrison, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Mauritania; Mr. Jonathan Croft, Special Envoy for the Sahel; and Ms. Sophie Lynn, Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Mauritania and the United Kingdom, with an emphasis on advancing mutual interests and promoting regional stability and development.
