President of Republic Receives High-Level British Delegation

On 3 September, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received a high-level British delegation currently visiting Mauritania, led by Lord Collins, Minister for African Affairs in the British government.

The delegation included Mr. Guy Harrison, British Ambassador to Mauritania, Mr. Jonathan Croft, Special Envoy for the Sahel region, and Ms. Sophie Linn, Deputy Minister for African Affairs.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Mauritania and the United Kingdom, ways to boost them in the interests of both countries, and stability and development in the region.
