The President of the National Assembly, Mr. Mohamed Bamba Meguet, returned last night to Nouakchott, after participating in the work of the 38th session of the Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, held on May 3-4, 2025 in Algiers.
During the conference, the President of the National Assembly delivered a speech in which he highlighted Mauritania’s vision and commitments in the parliamentary field, and its efforts to address the common challenges facing Arab countries.
He stressed the need to strengthen parliamentary relations and work to unify positions on current issues of concern to international public opinion, foremost of which is the central issue, the Palestinian cause.
