President of the Republic receives the Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs of UAE

The President of the Republic His Excellency, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received, on Thursday, at the Nouakchott International Conference Center, Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Awqaf, and Zakat of the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.).

The meeting, which focused on ways to strengthen cooperation relations for the benefit of the two brotherly countries, took place on the sidelines of the award ceremony for the winners of the fifth edition of the President of the Republic’s Prize for the Memorization and Understanding of Religious Texts included in the Mahadra program.
