Mauritania participates in the 31st Meeting of the Mineral Resources Sector Advisory Committee in Marrakech

Mauritania participated in the 31st meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Mineral Wealth Sector of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDMO), which was held in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco, from April 21 to 24.

Mauritania was represented by Mr. Muammar Al-Rashid Saleh, in charge of the Ministry of Mines and Industry

The meeting aims to strengthen Arab cooperation in the field of mining, develop regional integration mechanisms in this vital sector, exchange expertise among member states, and benefit from leading experiences in the development of mineral projects and human resources development.

The agenda of the meeting included discussing the latest developments in the mining sector in member states, reviewing joint Arab initiatives to develop mineral industries, in addition to discussing investment opportunities and promoting partnerships in the field of exploration, extraction and mineral processing
