Mauritanian President Offers Condolences to Spain After Deadly Train Collision

Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani has sent a message of sympathy and solidarity to the Spanish prime minister following a collision between two trains in Spain on Wednesday that resulted in fatalities and injuries.

The message reads as follows:

“Mr. Prime Minister,

It is with deep sadness that I learned of the tragic accident involving a collision between two trains that occurred today in Spain, resulting in loss of life and injuries.

I wish to express my solidarity and sympathy to you, the government, and the friendly people of Spain. I also extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and their loved ones, and wish those injured a speedy recovery.
