The event also aims to facilitate direct interactions between public and private sector employers, officials of education and training institutions, young people with degrees and job seekers, create a space for exchange and reflection on the relevance of training to employment, and address various issues related to employment in general.

The Salon for Employment and Vocational Training aims to discuss challenges related to training, professional integration, entrepreneurship, and strategic partnerships between all relevant actors, with the aim of maximizing employment opportunities and improving the employability of youth.

According to the organizers, the program of this edition revolves around three main components:

– Organizing an exhibition with pavilions for administrations, enterprises, companies, training institutions, associations of job seekers and NGOs, providing a dynamic and encouraging atmosphere for direct communication between employers, job seekers and training providers

A forum on “The role and place of the tripartite partnership between the state, the private sector and development partners in youth employment”, which will include expert interventions, plenary discussions, and thematic seminars on employment and vocational training issues in Mauritania.

– A high-level roundtable aimed at establishing strategic partnerships on employment and vocational training in Mauritania.

The roundtable is a pivotal moment that brings together relevant members of the government, employers, technical and financial partners to discuss ways to implement strategic priorities related to employment and training in a participatory and coordinated manner.
