Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development heads to Azerbaijan

The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development Ms. Messouda Baham Mohamed Laghdaf, left Nouakchott on Thursday evening for Azerbaijan to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties on Climate Change, which will take place in the capital Baku from 11 to 22 of this month.
In addition to her African counterparts, the Minister will participate in a consultation meeting on the venue and date of the next session of the African Ministers of Environment as Vice-Chair of this group.
