Foreign Ministry Organizes Reflection Day on cooperation with European Union

The premises of the Diplomatic Academy premises at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad hosted, today, Thursday, in Nouakchott, a day of reflection on Cooperation with the European Union, which coincides with the European Union week that is being celebrated these days.

In a speech on the occasion, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Ambassador Ahmed Ould Sid Ahmed Ould Eje, pointed out that the organization of this meeting is part of the annual program of the Mauritanian Diplomatic Academy, which was established through the vision of His Excellency the President of the Republic Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to be a space for communication, improvement of expertise, and to build a national diplomatic memory.

The ceremony’s activities included presenting a lecture entitled: Ten years of European external work service and its impact on cooperation with Mauritania. During which, the delegate of the European Union in Mauritania, His Excellency Mr. Giacomo Durazzo, discussed in detail the various stages of this cooperation and ways to boost it in all fields
