President of Republic Holds Talks With President of Libyan Presidential Council

On 3 September, in Beijing, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and Chairman of the African Union (AU), held talks with His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Younes El Menvi, the President of the Libyan Presidential Council. The meeting focused on the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and the efforts aimed at developing them in the service of common interests, as well as regional and international issues of interest to both countries.

It should be noted that the President of the Republic, his African counterparts, and Chinese President Xi Jinping will participate in the 9th Forum for China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC 2024), which will be held tomorrow in Beijing, under the theme: “Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future”.
