Human Rights Commissioner Holds Talks with OHCHR Delegation

Mr. Mohamed El Hassan Ould Boukhreiss, Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, held talks, Monday in Nouakchott, with a delegation of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, headed by the representative of its office in Mauritania, Mr. Lauren Meillan.

The meeting was an opportunity to review the existing cooperation relations between Mauritania and this international human rights body, and ways to enhance and develop them, especially in the areas of the OHCHR’s intervention.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner, Mr. Rassoul Ould El Khal, and the Director of Human Rights, Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikhna.
