President of Republic Returns to Nouakchott from Chad

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani returned to Nouakchott, on Friday evening, from N’Djamena, capital of Chad, after attending the funeral of President Idriss Deby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad.

The President of the Republic was greeted at Nouakchott Oumtounsy international airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal, the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, the President’s Chief of Staff, the Deputy Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of West Nouakchott, and the Chairperson of the Regional Council of Nouakchott.

During this trip, the President of the Republic was accompanied by an important delegation including:

– Ms. Coumba Ba, Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic

– Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad

– Hanena Ould Sidi, Minister of National Defense

– Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors

– Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, Director of Cabinet of the President of the Republic

– El Hacen Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Protocol.
