2024 Presidential Elections: Candidate Hamadi Sidi Mokhtar Presents Electoral Program in Tidjikja, Ain Savra
On 21 June, Mr. Hamadi Sidi Mokhtar Mohamed Abdi, the candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, presented his electoral program in Tidjikdja (Tagant) and Ain Savra (Adrar).
During the election evening organized in the capital of Tagant, the candidate affirmed that the city of Tidjikja and Tagant, in general, played a leading role in the dissemination of science in the world and the liberation of the country from the clutches of colonialists, calling on their populations to free the country from internal colonization carried out since independence until today by a group of people he described as “corrupt”.
He added that the successive leaders of the country have all fallen short of the required level, far from the aspirations of the citizens, noting that the problems facing this wilaya are the same as those that all wilayas face, namely the lack of drinking water, electricity, and the weakness of the health system.
He declared that any regime wishing to carry out reforms must make Tamourt-Enaaj an agricultural center and build a modern university in the wilaya, explaining that the latter was once the university of the country thanks to its mahadras, which disseminated knowledge.
He stressed that the country is on a painful and unsustainable path, calling for this situation to be changed through the ballot boxes on 29 June, warning against some abuses that he described as unacceptable, such as the exploitation of the country’s resources and all its executives for the benefit of a single candidate, as he put it.
He noted that the interests of citizens at the level of state administrations are disrupted due to what he said is “the absence of civil servants, who have gone to promote the regime’s candidate.”
Previously, candidate Hamadi Sidi Mokhtar chaired an electoral meeting in the municipality of Ain Savra, wilaya of Adrar, during which he explained his electoral program in the presence of a large number of supporters and activists of the National Rally for Reform and Development (Tawassoul) party.
The candidate told his supporters that by choosing to vote for his electoral project on 29 June, they would ensure a change toward a better future in which the citizens will enjoy a decent life in an equal manner, regardless of their political orientations and affiliations.
He called for continued awareness-raising efforts with a view to greater and more global mobilization to ensure the achievement of the desired objective, emphasizing in this regard the important role of youth.
The residents of the Aoujeft Moughataa organized a popular welcome on Friday morning in honor of the candidate, during which they held up portraits and banners advocating change and voting in favor of the Tawassoul party candidate.
