President of Republic Arrives in Dakar for Summit on Sport, Development

President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani arrived in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, on Friday evening to attend a summit on sport and development held as part of the Youth Olympic Games.

Upon his arrival at the airport, the Head of State was welcomed by Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

Following the welcoming ceremony, the two Presidents listened to the Mauritanian and Senegalese national anthems before reviewing units of the Senegalese Guard, which rendered them military honours.
