President of Republic and Chairperson of African Union returns to Nouakchott from Italy

HE President of the Republic and rotating President of the African Union, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, returned to Nouakchott on Saturday at dawn from Bari, Italy, after participating in the G7 summit.
HE the President of the Republic was received at Nouakchott International Airport “Oumtounsy” by Prime Minister Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad Mohamed Ould Abdallah Ould Osman; Minister of Interior and Decentralization Mohamed Salem Ould Marzough; Commander of the Special Forces of the President of the Republic Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine; Assistant Director of the Office of the President of the Republic, Assistant Governor of Nouakchott West and Vice President of the Nouakchott Region.
HE the President of the Republic was accompanied by an important delegation comprising Messrs:
– Mokhtar Ould Diay, Minister and Director of the Office of the President of the Republic.
– Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development
– Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Dahi, Ambassador of our country in Rome.
– Ahmed Ould Bahini, charge d’affaires of the Presidency of the Republic.
– Sid Ahmed Ould Abouh, Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic
– El Hassan Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Honors.
